Frequently Asked Questions

The first session is all about getting to know each other and seeing if we’re a good fit. Coaching often brings up personal topics, so it’s important that we connect and feel comfortable working together.
I’ll ask you some questions about your health journey—where you’ve had success, what’s been challenging, and what support you’re looking for now. If we have time, we may start to envision what health could look like for you and establish your coaching goals.
If I’m not the right person to support you, I’ll always be honest about that and do my best to refer you to someone who is. My priority is to help you reach your goals - no matter if that is with me or not.

Coaching sessions take place via Zoom in a personalized, secure meeting room. You do not need a Zoom account to participate - you will receive a link in your email after scheduling the appointment. If you need any assistance with technology, please reach out - I am happy to assist!
If you are in the Netherlands, I would be happy to work out a place to meet in person if you would prefer that.
Each session is approximately 55 minutes.

Most clients find they start to see progress around week six. Some people may need more, some less. It all depends on your unique situation and goals.
For the most impact, I recommend one session per week for at least four to six sessions. After you have a good grasp of your new habits, you may find it helpful to reduce the frequency to one session every other week or once a month. It is all up to you and I am happy to discuss with you and change the frequency as needed.

I hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Plymouth State University (2021) and was professionally trained as a Performance Coach at Oregon State University (2014). I have worked with people all over the world to reach their health goals, ranging all the way from helping people get off the couch more easily to helping people finish triathlons.

Absolutely. As long as you give at least 24 hours’ notice, you can reschedule directly through Acuity Scheduling.
If something comes up within 24 hours, just email me to let me know. I totally understand—life happens, and we’re all human. That said, if last-minute changes become a pattern, I’ll gently check in with you to see if this is the right time for you to be in coaching. The work we do together only works if you're ready and able to show up for it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give me at least 24 hours' notice and you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a refund (your choice).
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss a session without notice, that session is considered used and non-refundable. I get that emergencies and unexpected things happen—I always want to lead with understanding. If something serious comes up, just reach out and we’ll figure it out.
My goal is to support you in building consistency and commitment to your health, and honoring session times is part of that process.

Life will get busy—that’s actually part of what coaching helps you navigate. One of our goals is to build sustainable habits that support your health even during stressful or chaotic seasons.
That said, if you need to pause, I fully support your decision and will be here when you’re ready to return. If you’ve purchased a package, your remaining sessions are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase.
We’ll always work together to find a pace that’s doable for your life—not anyone else’s.

Coaching is ongoing support to help you build healthy habits, improve movement, and feel more at home in your body. It’s collaborative and personalized to your goals, with regular sessions and check-ins.
Consulting is more direct and short-term. It’s ideal if you need help navigating the medical system, understanding test results, or preparing for a doctor’s appointment. I’ll offer clear advice and strategies to help you feel confident and informed.
Not sure which is right for you? I’m happy to help you decide.
